The Open Campus – undergraduate study for all
The Centre for Lifelong Learning in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has launched a new initiative – The Open Campus.
Following on from the successful pilot with the School of Psychological Sciences and Health, this new initiative offers a unique opportunity for adult learners to gain a flavour of a range of subjects which are part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences BA programme, not to mention providing a unique intergenerational learning experience for all.
We have developed learning opportunities in three fields of study which we believe will have broad appeal to adult learners. Each subject has its own Open Studies Certificate worth 30 University credits, so you have the option to study for academic credit. There are no exams, assessment is by course work and is optional. All you need is a thirst for knowledge! Choose from the following subject areas;
- Social Policy
- English Literature
You can find out more about the course content, lecture times and funding on the Open Campus webpage. Alternatively, if you have any queries, please contact Linda Anderson by email - firstname.lastname@example.org
