Academic Suspension

This decision means you have been suspended from your course and are no longer required to be in attendance. Please see our detailed guidance.

Completed

This means you have completed your course of study.

  • If you complete your course as expected, then no UKVI action will be taken
  • If you complete your course earlier than expected (more than 1 month earlier than the end date given on your most recent CAS), the University will notify UKVI. 

Re-attend

This decision means you are required to repeat the current year of your course of study. Please see our detailed guidance.

Transfers to higher or lower level course  

Please see our detailed guidance.   

Voluntary suspension

This means you have requested to take some time away from your study.  This decision will have implications for your Tier 4 visa.    Please see our detailed guidance.

Withdraw

This decision means you have been permanently withdrawn from your course of study for academic failure, or that you have voluntarily chosen to withdraw from your course. Please see our detailed guidance.
