Fixed price ‘Home’ fee for EU applicants

EU nationals who apply for postgraduate research programmes before 1st May 2021 and are registered (conditions met and deposit paid) by 1st July 2021 will be charged the UK tuition fee (currently £4,500) for the duration of their studies. The start date cannot be deferred.

How to apply

EU nationals must apply by 1st May for admission to PhD or MPhil programmes via our Pegasus online portal and enter “EU fixed price home fee” in the funding section of the application form. 

When applying, please upload the following supporting documents:

  • Your research proposal
  • Scans of degree certificates/transcripts
  • IELTS certificate (overall band score of 6.5 with no individual test score below 5.5)

Two academic reference letters (alternatively, you can ask your referees to send their letters direct to placing your name and the word "reference" in the subject line)

(Postgraduate Research tuition fees are paid for the year from 1st October to 30th September.  The fee for 1st July 2021 to 30th September 2021 will be £1,102 with the full annual fees for 2021/22 session being due on 1st October 2021)
