Your qualifications to date, pending qualifications and proficiency in English will be taken into account. Some courses also ask for work experience or other qualifications. You can find out more information by looking at the entry requirements on each course page.

Pre-Masters preparation programme

Pre-Masters Programme at the University of Strathclyde International Study Centre is a preparation course for international students who do not meet the entry requirements for a Masters degree at University of Strathclyde. Upon successful completion, students can progress to a number of postgraduate degree options at the University.​

English language requirements

If English is not your first language, we need proof of your proficiency in English. We accept a number of English language tests. IELTS (Academic) is mostly widely available.  Our current standard requirements are 6.5 overall (no individual band less than 5.5). Some courses have different standards.
