Number of Scholarships
Being a BP scholar will provide financial support of £3000 per year, from your third year of study, as well as much more. You’ll have unique opportunities to experience first-hand what we do – whether it’s using the latest technology to find oil and gas, renewables ventures, building platforms in the ocean, developing low-carbon fuels and lubricants, working on the bustling trading floor or supporting the whole business through functions such as HR, Sales and Marketing.
You’ll be invited to join us for exclusive events and experiences and to meet BP employees who are currently or have recently been on our graduate and intern programmes.
If you’re interested in discovering even more, being a BP scholar will fast track you to an interview for an internship or graduate role later on in your degree.
Other scholarship opportunities are also available at the University of Strathclyde. If you are applying for, or already receiving, a corporate scholarship or bursary with an annual value of up to £1,500, you may also apply to the BP scholarship scheme (providing that your funding source permits this). However, if you are receiving annual scholarship funding above £1,500 you will not be eligible for the BP scheme.

2. Complete our situational judgement questionnaire and online numerical and verbal tests (if invited)
