Eligibility
In order to be deemed eligible for a Dean's International Excellence Award - India, candidates must:
- Be available to commence academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September/October 2020.
- Have an offer of study for a full-time, postgraduate, Humanities and Social Sciences programme at the University of Strathclyde.
- Register as a Indian, fee-paying student.
Some scholarships have restrictions on other funding you can accept. This means that you have to decide which scholarship to accept. For any University of Strathclyde award you are successful in applying for, you will receive the higher value award only.
Further Information
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences offers all Indian students an automatic merit-based scholarship of £4,000 for postgraduate applicants towards the tuition fee of a full-time programme.
Students receiving discounted tuition fees from partner universities are not eligible.

How to apply
Students who have an offer of study for a postgraduate course in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences will be notified they qualify for the award. Once the tuition fee deposit has been paid, students will receive a scholarship letter confirming the award and the amount of the award. The letter can be used to confirm fees due as part of the Tier 4 Student Visa application.
