Digital Health and Care Institute Fully Funded Places for MSc Digital Health Systems

With funding from the Scottish Funding Council, the Digital Health and Care Health Institute, and the University of Strathclyde we have up to 6 fully funded places available. 

Applications are open to Scottish and EU students only and each scholarship will cover the full tuition fee.

Eligibility

The following eligibility criteria applies:

  • Applicants must have an offer of a place on MSc Digital Health Systems in order to apply for this award
  • Strictly Scottish/EU students only 

Candidates interested in applying for these fully funded places are required to provide a brief statement which should discuss how their personal interests align with one of the current DHI themes:

  1. Citizen empowerment and long-term condition management
  2. Service issues in Health and Care: demand and capacity management;
  3. Health ageing and fraility
  4. Digital skills and workforce development in Health and Care
  5. Digital tools and services as an enabler in shifting care from hospital of institutional settings to the home
  6. Digital technologies in the support of Population/Public Health and or Emergency Planning (ref COVID-19 or similar epidemic/pandemic threats)

Topics 1 and 2 should focus on one of the following non-communicable diseases:

      • diabetes;
      • cardiovascular diseases;
      • chronic respiratory diseases;
      • mental health;
      • cancer

In addition, in special circumstances research that falls under the broader topic will also be considered.
