Commonwealth Scholarships for the M.Sc. in Finance [University of Strathclyde] at the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) Tanzania

The M.Sc. in Finance at the University of Strathclyde offered in conjunction with the Institution of Finance Management (IFM) has been awarded a number of Commonwealth Scholarships to fund students taking the course at IFM.   The scholarships will be available for the part time (two years) course. These scholarships will be for courses beginning in September 2016 and will cover the fees for students living in the vicinity of Dar Es Salaam.  The scholarships will also cover the travelling and accommodation costs (for students from elsewhere in Tanzania or neighbouring Commonwealth Countries).    The part time course requires attendance at eight extended weekends of lectures at IFM.

Head of Department Scholarship for a Scottish Student

Spotcap Fintech Fellowship

Deadline:1 August 2018 Opens:17 April 2018

Launched for the first time in April 2017, the yearly Spotcap Fintech Fellowship is helping build a healthy talent pipeline for the British fintech industry*. Awarded to one student per academic year, the Fellowship contributes £8,000 towards a master's degree or MBA in a fintech related field.
The deadline for applications is 1st August 2018, 12pm BST and the one award of £8000 will be towards the cost of tuition of a one-year masters degree or MBA at an accredited British University, studying in the UK starting September/October 2018 in Fintech-related fields such as Finance, management, business, computer science and engineering.  
*Financial technology, or 'fintech' describes an evolving industry at the intersection of finance and technology. Fintechs typically use technology to offer existing financial services in a more efficient or cost-effective way. Architects of innovation, fintechs are behind products like blockchain and contactless payments.
