Glasgow Shopping

Style Mile

The Style Mile is the second largest shopping experience in the UK. Spread across three mostly pedestrian streets (Buchanan Street, Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street), it offers everything from high street brands to designer boutiques. Here, you can find the brands you know and love all in one compact location.

Shopping Centres

There are three main shopping centres in Glasgow city centre – Buchanan Galleries, St. Enoch Centre, and the more luxurious Princes Square. All feature a range of high street brands, boutiques, cafes and restaurants.

Further outside the city are Silverburn, Intu Breahead and Glasgow Fort, which can be reached by public transport. These are ideal destination shopping locations for those rainy days.

House of Fraser at the bottom of Buchanan Street, is a high-end department store complete with luxury brands across several floors.

West End

If you head to the West End of the city, you won’t be disappointed. You can find quirky bookshops, vintage stores and boutiques, some with items you won’t be able to find on the high street.

Many designer and bespoke shops to suit every taste can also be found, such as award-winning gift shop, Spirito.

Other stores include the excellent independent record store, Fopp, and award-winning cheese retailer, George Mewes.
