The University of Strathclyde has retained its five-star Overall Rating in the QS Stars University Ratings.
QS Stars provides students with a detailed look at universities’ performance in key areas.
We're a 5-star QS-rated university
All eight areas of our activity which were assessed – teaching, employability, research, internationalisation, facilities, innovation, inclusiveness, and specialist – scored highly, achieving five stars in each.
Professor Sir Jim McDonald, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Strathclyde, said:
We’re delighted to retain our five-star Overall Rating, with five stars across all eight contributing categories, and we are especially pleased to have improved on our overall score. This external validation helps Strathclyde to stand-out in the sector and it is worth noting that the categories relating to our students and the quality of their experience are wide-ranging.
“Our performance was assessed in relation to our scholarships and bursary offerings, disability access, gender balance, and international student mix – right through to the success of our graduates in finding jobs.
It is tremendous to see Strathclyde’s position, as a leading international research-intensive University, reinforced by our growing range and scale of unique research collaborations and international partnerships, recognised with a five-star Overall Rating by QS.
