Jordan Reid (pictured right) is Director and Founder of Ngage Technology. Ngage leverage technology to create great guest experiences and customer journeys by understanding their clients and their guests. They believe in thinking smart, keeping simple and delivering seamlessly. Since launching the business in 2016 with his co-founder Grant McAdam (pictured left), Ngage has generated several clients for whom they are designing bespoke apps. They are currently developing a platform app, Smart Concierge, which is due to launch in 2018.
Ngage have been heavily involved with Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network - first as clients and now as alumni giving back to other entrepreneurs. The team has presented at Strathclyde 100 and received Strathclyders Into Business (SIB) funding, which they used to fund an intellectual property review.
Jordan studied Management Science and Marketing (BA Hons) and graduated in 2014.
What advice do you have for budding entrepreneurs?
Start small, move fast, expect change and be resourceful.
How has the Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network helped you on your entrepreneurial journey?
SEN has been exceptional. From one-on-one mentorship to networking with fellow start-ups, experienced entrepreneurs and investors. There is also an array of opportunities to practice and fine-tune key skills such as communication, creative thinking and problem solving in an honest and encouraging environment.
