Courses within the NMIS programme offer a holistic understanding of digitalisation and the benefits to your company. The courses are designed to create awareness of fundamental digital manufacturing concepts and the requirements to successfully navigate through the digital transformation process. This short course has been created to coach business leaders on how to optimise their engagement with new or existing business processes affected by Digital Transformation. The aim of the course is to foster an advanced understanding of the opportunities that Digital Transformation can bring to a company’s efficiency and competitive edge.

Leading the Digital Transformation

Companies that lead in using digital technology differ not only in their capability but also in the clarity of their vision. They see digital not as a technology challenge but as a transformation opportunity. In order to do this, leaders must have a clear vision of their organization’s digital strategy. This requires an understanding of how to evaluate the marketplace, the competition, and their own capabilities to develop a specific business approach that addresses all of the strategic priorities in a deliberate, coordinated, and technological way. The goal of this course is to help organisations gain a more precise understanding of the digitialization challenges facing businesses today and to evaluate strategic responses to these challenges.
