Strathclyde Executive Education & DevelopmentClimate Solutions
From Awareness to Effective Action
The severity and decreasing timescale of the climate emergency is recognised by Governments, businesses and citizens worldwide, but what remains elusive is the effective, systems level change required to address it. Climate Solutions will enable you to deliver impactful operational and strategic change with your organisation and more widely to society.
Climate Solutions was originally launched in 2020 and has provided solutions focussed training to over 100,000 participants, leading to significant impact at corporate and operational levels. We are able to offer participants from a full range of organisational types, sector and sizes the option of two programmes. The design of these programmes ensures that best practice and research led teaching methods are encompassed. This allows for deep learning of the materials and a critical ability to apply the skills and knowledge gained to participant’s current and future opportunities.
All of our training has been developed by highly regarded academic subject experts such as Professor Dave Reay of ECCI and Professor Iain Black of Strathclyde Business School, supported and enhanced by content from a range of specialists from business, government and the third sector.
Why this programme?
Participants that successfully complete either of these programmes will be invited to join the Climate Solutions Network and can take part in their wider support and networking opportunities.
By taking in part in either of these programmes you will:

- Gain core climate change knowledge and understanding including climate science, legal and policy obligations and solutions that can be implemented across scales
- Become an effective advocate for the transformational change required to contribute to global, national, organisational, and personal targets aiming at addressing climate change
