Our new Technology & Innovation Centre on George Street is a state-of-the-art facility is home to 750 researchers, engineers and project managers from academia and industry. The building is a hub for world-leading research and will transform the way academics, business, industry and the public sector work together.

We were voted ‘Entrepreneurial University of the Year’ in the Times Higher Education Awards 2013, living up to our founding mission to be 'a place of useful learning'. In 2012, we were recognised as the 'University of the Year'.
With around 3,200 members of staff, we’re one of Glasgow’s major employers.
