How did you first hear about the University of Strathclyde?

For the first time, I heard about the university was through my childhood friend who was studying here for a couple of years. 

Why did you choose to study at Strathclyde?

At Strathclyde, the course was apt according to what I needed to concentrate on and excel in terms of the subject and its importance in the course within the span of two years. Strathclyde university gave me the feeling of having a complete study package ready for a better impact in further studies in the future.

What do you like about your course?

The course is well designed and also helps in broadening the horizon of knowledge. The course is perfectly scheduled in the duration of 24 months including the study trips and other conferences and events which would be so beneficial for the understanding of the overall basic foundation of the course and strengthen the areas of expertise according to the individual’s needs.

What else do you like about Strathclyde?

Strathclyde University is one of the best places to experience multi-diverse culture around which is another important factor to choose this university as they help you grow individually and develop as a person for the best.  

What has been a highlight of your time so far?

The best highlight so far has been the university trip to Germany with the faculty and the whole batch which bonded really well. 

What do you like about Glasgow?

It is more of a student-oriented city with the number of pubs and bars to visit after work or submission is one of the great things about this city. The people are warm and welcoming and so helpful.  

Have you travelled much in Scotland and the UK and where has been your favourite place?

Yes, one of the best trips was driving through the north coast 500 and visiting the highlands. London was also an amazing city to visit with a different vibe and life to experience. 

What funding opportunities (if any) were available to you and how has it helped with your degree?

Yes, there were many scholarship’s available, I received the Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship (FEES) one for £2,500. With the amount of fees and other expenses having a scholarship does reduce the burden in the amount that goes in the education. 

Would you recommend Strathclyde to other people and why?

I would definitely do so because of the faculties and the state of art technology and educational facilities provided. The courses are so up to date with industrial experts around throughout the course for further development and knowledge needed to enhance the wisdom.

Strathclyde University is more of a home, any student would love to come or be around for a long time for its development. A place where education and culture has a perfect blend and would be a dream to be a student of this esteemed university.
