Charlie Irvine (Director, University of Strathclyde Mediation Clinic)

Charlie Irvine is Director of Strathclyde's LLM in Mediation and Conflict Resolution, combining academic study with a strong focus on practice.  In response to student demand he started the Mediation Clinic in 2011; from a handful of mediations per year the Clinic has grown to the point where it provides small claims mediation in most of Scotland's courts. Charlie has just completed a PhD looking at justice in small claims mediation, and his practice includes workplace, succession and professional complaints. He is a regular contributor to the Kluwer Mediation Blog.
