The University of Strathclyde and Glasgow School of Art have once again welcomed the Fulbright Scotland Summer Institute for 2023.

The Fulbright programme is one of the most prestigious student mobility programmes in the world and gives a group of 10 undergraduate students from all over the United States the opportunity to visit Scotland and take part in a three-week academic and cultural programme.

The "Technology, Innovation and Creativity" programme is jointly delivered by the University of Strathclyde and the Glasgow School of Art. This year we have a brilliant group of students from Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Louisville, University of North Georgia, University of Miami, The Ohio State University, Colorado State University, University of Notre Dame, University of Mississippi, Georgia College and State University and New Mexico State University. The programme is part of the US-UK Fulbright Commission summer school series. The students had the opportunity to visit all four Faculties and they also heard from Sir Harry Burns, former Chief Medical Officer, Scotland they also visited Glasgow City Council Lord Provost, and the Scottish Parliament.
