We strive to equip graduates enterting the speech & language profession and to contribute to clinical expertise and research within the field.
Our teaching
Our degree is approved by the Health Professionals CouncilAt undergraduate level, we offer a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Pathology, which is approved by the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
The degree leads to eligibility to apply for registration with HCPC and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
At postgraduate level, we offer MPhil and PhD degrees aligned with our research fields.
We also have strong links with other universities and practitioners within the NHS, to ensure specialist teaching in all the major areas of communication difficulty.
