The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship is an academic department, endowed by Sir Tom Hunter for the study, research and encouragement of entrepreneurship within Scotland.

Our mission is to:

  • Provide Strathclyde people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to practice entrepreneurship
  • Undertake research in entrepreneurship that combines excellence and relevance
  • Promote entrepreneurship as a socially desirable career option to students, staff and the Strathclyde community.

The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship offers an undergraduate BA Business Enterprise degree pathway for Business School students. Some of our undergraduate modules can be also taken by students from across the University. The Department has a vibrant research culture with a strong and growing PhD community.
