Software download Nvivo 2020

Nvivo  is qualitative data analysis software designed to aid users in managing, organising and supporting research in qualitative data analysis projects. 

With purpose-built tools for classifying, sorting and arranging information, NVivo can assist with analysing different types of data such as interview transcripts, field notes, case notes and articles.

Is this software right for me?

This software can be used by staff or students, on university or personal computers, whether that is a laptop or desktop, both on and off campus.

Restrictions apply to the installation of Nvivo from outside the UK. If you require use of Nvivo outside of the UK for more than 12 weeks, an additional license must be purchased via the software supplier.

Please contact help@strath.ac.uk if you intend to use this software from an overseas country.

For staff an academic perpetual license is available. Please contact help@strath.ac.uk to request a quote.

For students a12-month student license can be purchased directly from Lumivero (prices may vary depending on the exchange rate of the country you are located in at the time of purchase).

Please note:- the University is not permitted to purchase the required license on your behalf.

Usage

Use by any staff or student for the purpose of teaching, research, personal educational development, administration and management of University business on machines owned by the University. Off-site usage of the software is allowed by staff and students whether on University or personally owned equipment, subject to conditions.
