A-Levels and Highers

You must wait for the official results to be confirmed by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) or the Joint Council for Qualifications (England).

Higher results will be released to applicants by the SQA and A-Level results will be released to applicants by the JCQ. Before that, the University cannot confirm a place. The University will be automatically notified of Higher and A-Level results through UCAS for UK applicants.

Other qualifications and international applicants (Undergraduate)

If you have a formal certificate/confirmation, please email a copy of this to: ug.admissions@strath.ac.uk

Please include your UCAS Personal ID Number and a scan or photograph of the certificate/confirmation.

Qualifications for Postgraduates

Please upload a copy of the Degree Certificate or Academic Transcript to your PEGASUS account. The relevant Faculty Selector/Selection Team will then review this.

Undergraduate

Students may want to speak to the Faculty Selector/Selection Team about an appeal.

We’ll consider all results when they’re formally confirmed by the relevant authority in the week leading up to results day. If we can still offer you a place, this will be confirmed on UCAS after formal results are published.

If we cannot offer you a place, you will be released to your Insurance Choice, or into Clearing if we are the Insurance Choice. Further information can be found at our Undergraduate Results Day page.

Postgraduate

Please upload your results to your Pegasus account. The Faculty Selector/Selection Team will then consider them. They may be able to still offer you a place.

Highers and A-Level results from this year are confirmed directly to the University. You do not need to send in copies of these. If you have been asked to provide Higher or A-Level results from any previous year, then please email a copy to: ug.admissions@strath.ac.uk

If you would like to provide results for an HND, an HNC, or SQA Intermediate, then please email a copy to: ug.admissions@strath.ac.uk

If you would like to provide results for the International Baccalaureate, then please email a copy to: ug.admissions@strath.ac.uk

Please email a copy of your International Baccalaureate results even if you have given the University access to these results online.

We have more information on alternative qualifications and our Pre-Sessional English courses.

If you already have a Conditional Offer from us, the offer will give details of English Language Requirements. You can also seek further information from the relevant Academic Department.

If you have already met the English Language Requirements of your offer, you also have the option to study on our online Pre-Sessional Module 3 course. This is a four-week course that helps orient students to study in English.

If you can see on your application that a reference has been requested, then no further action is required on your part.

If a reference has not been requested, then please contact the relevant Faculty Selector/Selection Team to clarify. You can also simply upload a copy of your reference to your PEGASUS account.

Clearing will open in July. All places available in Clearing will be visible on the UCAS website.

Once you have checked the UCAS website and have identified a place that is available on Clearing, please contact the Clearing Advice Line, stating your Clearing Number and UCAS Personal ID Number, to discuss this further.

Once you have contacted the Clearing Advice Line please add this choice to your UCAS Hub.
