Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture (Cefas)

In 2018, SCELG began a collaboration with the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture (Cefas), a world leader in marine science and technology and an executive agency of the UK Government’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

SCELG members Dr Daniela Diz and Mitchell Lennan are working in collaboration with Cefas Principal Scientist Dr Kieran Hyder on a pilot study exploring the governance of recreational sea fisheries in international and national law.
