Congratulations to PhD student Philippa Owens for winning the Molecules Best Poster Award.

Congratulations to PhD student Philippa Owens, studying within Professor Billy Kerr's research team in Pure and Applied Chemistry, for winning the Molecules Best Poster Award at the 27th International Conference on Organometallic Chemistry in Melbourne, Australia (ICOMC 2016). 

Philippa was chosen to present her poster entitled "Highly Active Iridium Complexes as New Catalysts in Organic Synthesis" at this international event and was awarded the top poster prize out of more than 350 entrants.  Included in the prize is the opportunity to publish a featured article in the peer-reviewed journal Molecules.
