My main interests are in behavioural finance and international financial markets and I enjoy sharing curiosity about finance with my students. I have been nominated and shortlisted for the student-led Teaching Excellence Awards several times, most recently in 2023 I was shortlisted for Best in the Business School. I am a member of the European Finance Association (EFA) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Teaching

My teaching interests include behavioural finance, international finance, security analysis, micro finance, Islamic finance and financial regulation. I teach at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level and have experience not only in the delivery but also the development and design of new UG, PG, as well as long distance classes.
