Our Mission and Vision

The Age-Friendly Academy (AFA) aims to:

• consolidate and showcase the innovative work taking place across the University which demonstrates Strathclyde’s commitment to being a place for everyone, regardless of age or stage in life
• create impact through research relating to ageing and demographic change
• continue to explore opportunities for internal and external collaboration and act as a platform through which new initiatives can be launched
• work to continue to develop and maximise community engagement
