The Chaplaincy function at the University of Strathclyde is a long-standing function that has always served to support the University’s students and staff - a community comprising more than 100 different nationalities - and to provide opportunities for religious worship and celebration, as well as social interaction.
Through a collaborative approach that reaches every member of the University community, regardless of belief system, and by providing space and opportunity for people to meet, relax, study together or spend time in worship, quiet thought or meditation, and through discussions and debates involving religious or other issues, the Chaplaincy contributes to the richness of University life, and the pastoral and social support offered to students and staff.
All are welcome to use the Chaplaincy Centre - feel free to drop in, we'd be only too happy to see you. We're based on Level 2 (GH208) of the Graham Hills Building, 50 George Street.
We operate a Chaplaincy mailing list, sending out occasional updates on events taking place throughout the year. To place yourself on the mailing list, send an email to email@example.com from your own email account with 'Mailing List' as your subject header.
