At Strathclyde you'll study in an Engineering centre that few universities can rival. As a student you'll have access to state-of-the-art equipment and work spaces.

Each department has cutting-edge computer facilities and wireless networks. These play a large role in teaching, resulting in a practical, hands-on approach. You'll get training in specialist software appropriate to your course.

We've made significant investment in our outstanding teaching facilities and world-class laboratories. We've just completed a £40 million refurbishment of our largest Engineering building. The James Weir Building was formally reopened in 2014. It's home to five of our eight engineering departments and a number of high-spec laboratories. Constant investments throughout the Faculty ensure that you get the best possible experience when studying with us.

Our facilities are often used by our industry partners who we work closely with to conduct high-impact practical research.

We're continually investing in the Faculty's facilities to ensure that you'll get the best possible experience when studying at Strathclyde.
