Images of Research - Exploring the Unseen

Take part

Images of Research offers PhD students, researchers and academics across Strathclyde the opportunity to showcase their research to the public and industry. Successful entries will be curated into a exhibition which will launch during Engage with Strathclyde's flagship programme (29th April - 10th May 2024) and then travel to a number of public and campus venues.

Eligible entries will be part of the Images of Research competition, with winners selected by a combination of a university judging panel and a public vote. Please see the Judging and Awards section for more information.

How do I take part?

This year's competition is now closed.  Check back her in April for details of the exhibition launch event.

Why take part?
This is your opportunity to highlight the importance of your work to the public and industry. Images of Research is also an ideal first step, or can enhance a portfolio of activity, in public engagement.

Images can often be a more engaging and effective way of conveying information than words alone so taking part in the competition will allow you to publicise your research to a wide audience, using the power of imagery to highlight exactly how your research has impact in contemporary global society and industry.

Who can enter?
Entries are invited from PhD students, researchers and academics across the University conducting research in any faculty or department. Multiple entries are permitted if entrants wish to showcase more than one research project.
