Introduction

The University of Strathclyde is one of the largest employers in Glasgow employing 3,400 people - 2,800 at the John Anderson Campus and 600 at the Jordanhill Campus. Important among the University's achievements is its reputation internally and externally as a good employer and the adoption of employment practices which will maintain and enhance this reputation. This is reflected in the University's decision to make Investors in People a strategic priority. Strathclyde was the first pre '92 research based University to be accredited in January 1999 and has undergone regular assessments since to maintain this status.

On this Human Resources website we aim to tell you something about what we as an Office are trying to achieve, our commitment to service and how we are organised to deliver on this commitment. The menu alongside is to assist you access these things in more detail. A small part of the information is restricted to access from the intranet.
