Digital StrategyTheme 4: A digital community

We are proud of our Strathclyde community and the difference they make in the world.

Digital technology provides the opportunity for Strathclyders to interact with the University and our wider community in exciting new ways.

Our Strathclyde digital community will strengthen the bonds between Alumni, students, staff and partners by providing opportunities to connect, attend virtual events, continue their learning journey and develop professional resources and partnerships.

We will use internet-based technologies to build our on-line community, to enable Strathclyders to interact with the University and each other in mutually beneficial ways.

It will form a gateway to lifelong learning – both formal and informal – and access to Strathclyde expertise through events and curated content.

Our Strathclyde Community will benefit from access to Community only resources, made possible through digital delivery.

  • improving and simplifying access to our internal information resources;
  • publishing easy to navigate routes for partner enquiries;
  • creating an intranet to facilitate effective internal communication and engagement.
