Welcome to The Advice Centre
During your time at Strathclyde you may require additional Information, Advice and Practical support on a wide range of issues; you can obtain this in a number of ways as detailed below:
We are located on level one of the McCance Building in The Advice Centre for general over-the-counter advice between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. We also offer a number of 'drop-in' sessions on various topics where you would be able to speak to an advisor on a one-to-one basis, week commencing 21st May 2012 these are scheduled as follows:
- Monday 2-4pm - Appeals Advice
- Tuesday 2-4pm - General advice session with Advisor
- Wednesday 10am-12pm - Tier 4 visa extensions*
- Thursday 10am-12pm - Tier 4 visa extensions*
- Thursday 2-4pm - General session with Advisor
* please note that these sessions are for form checking only, general questions can be directed to the mailboxes below or in person at The Advice Centre.
From time to time, and in addition to these, we also offer workshops for international students, these will be advertised here as appropriate.

You can call us on 0141 548 4273 to make an initial enquiry, however, you may be asked to see us in person either at The Advice Centre or at one of our pre-arranged drop-in sessions. Telephone lines are staffed from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
