Fee paying study abroad students

Strathclyde welcomes applications from international and European students who wish to attend the University on a visiting, non-graduating basis for one or two semesters. Before applying we recommend you consult the Study Abroad Adviser at your home University to discuss this option and to check if they are able to award you credit for the courses you successfully complete at Strathclyde. Applicants attending the University on this basis will normally take a selection of undergraduate-level classes/courses from levels 1 to 3 (1st year to 3rd year).

The standard tuition fee for international (non-EU) students undertaking a period of study abroad at Strathclyde is £8,450 per semester and £16,900 for a full year for all subject areas.

As part of their application, applicants will be asked to upload the following documents:

  • current academic transcript
  • passport information page
  • Recommendation Letter (from a member of the Faculty or Tutor confirming your suitability for a period of study abroad)
