Your induction
To help you settle in, we'll host a department induction session for all our new undergraduates on Thursday 17 September - part of the University's Freshers' Week events.
The induction session will run from 10am to 3pm and will provide you with:
- a chance to find your way around the department and the University
- course information
- an opportunity to meet fellow students on your course
- an opportunity to meet teaching and administrative staff
As part of the Induction Day, students from the Chemical Engineering Society are hosting a social event at the University Centre (UC201). A buffet lunch will be provided at the event.

Faculty Induction
The Faculty of Engineering's Induction Sessions for new undergraduate students will take place on Tuesday 15 September in K325 (John Anderson Building).
