In January 2017 the Scottish Government opened up five areas of energy policy to public consultation:
- Scottish Energy Strategy
- Scotland's Energy Efficiency Programme
- Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategies, and Regulation of District Heating
- Draft Onshore Wind Policy
- Unconventional Oil and Gas (Fracking)
The Centre for Energy Policy have invited departments across the University of Strathclyde to share their responses to these consultations. Strathclyde has a wealth of experience in these areas, from the Centre for Energy Policy itself, to Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and more.
