As of the 1st of January, 2019, Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Standard and Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Premium replaced the names of Imagine Standard and Imagine Premium.
The University’s subscription to the Microsoft Campus Agreement provides a membership to the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Standard program. Such membership grants active faculty, staff and students the right to electronically download Microsoft developer tools, platforms and servers for non-commercial use in labs, classrooms, and on PCs.
Software available to download under the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Standard subscription includes:
- OneNote
- SQL Server
- Visual Studio Community
- Windows Server

Certain Microsoft products which can be accessed from Azure Dev Tools for Teaching may also be available on the centrally managed Lab PCs.

Usage :
Registered students and staff who meet the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching licensing criteria will be entitled to use the above listed Microsoft products on or off campus and with a personal or University owned computer system.
Azure Dev Tools for Teaching products may only be used for academic instruction, academic projects, and non-commercial research.
Use of Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software for commercial purposes is prohibited

Who is it for?
Staff :
Free to use for faculty/teaching staff conducting academic, non-commercial research or teaching courses. The software may be used on personal or University-owned machines.
Support staff can install this software for evaluation purposes.
Administrative users are not eligible to access Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Standard software.
Student :
Free to use for all registered students.
This software may be installed on personal machines.
