The University of Strathclyde’s corporate vision of being a leading international technological university, requires the University to conduct its activities at all times in a proactive way that prevents injury and ill health to our staff, students and to those who engage with us.

The Occupational Health and Safety Policy maps out the strategic direction for occupational health, safety and wellbeing, setting the foundation of the long term goal for the University’s health and safety management system to attain accreditation to the International Occupational Health and Safety Management Standard ISO 45001:2016.

Health & Safety Policy

The Health and Safety policy describes the health and safety management system at the University of Strathclyde. It provides a health and safety framework for the University's business and other activities.

Health & Safety Library

The Safety, Health and Wellbeing library contains all safety related documentation that is published across the University. These documents are available to departments, and aim to assist departments in achieving compliance with a wide variety of legislative and regulatory requirements.
