Dear Strathclyde student,
I hope you are enjoying the Semester and making the most of all the University and Strath Union have to offer.
As we head into the winter months, it is especially important that we all prioritise our wellbeing and look after our mental health. Following my email in September, I wanted to remind you of the support available to you as a member of our student community. You can also find lots of information on our website about staying active, healthy and well.
This list below includes information about how to access our services at any time. Please keep this information to hand in case you, or someone you know, needs it in the future.
Finally, don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need help or support – we are here to help you.
Best wishes,
Gill Watt,
Director of Student Experience
Referrals & Weekday Services
Students with concerns about their mental health or wellbeing can access same-day initial support and advice from our Early Intervention Counselling Team. Referrals can be made by emailing the Disability & Wellbeing Service on disability-wellbeing@strath.ac.uk.
The service also offers daily mental health and wellbeing Zoom drop-in sessions where students can obtain direct access to advice and support from one of our trained advisers/counsellors. Running at 2pm on weekdays, students can access the drop-in using the Zoom details that were included in the email we sent you on 17 November 2021.
