大家好! Hello everyone!
Another month has gone by and this month has been very eventful! In this month, the National Chinese Holiday is celebrated. It is also known as The Golden Age Holiday 黄金时代假期。
During this holiday 学校, 银行 and most businesses will be shut for a maximum of 7 days in order to celebrate 中国 (when Chairman Mao came to power in 1945). Many 中国人 use this holiday to return home and celebrate with their family and friends, or they travel to different parts of 中国 to sightsee.
In order to celebrate 黄金时代假期 , myself and my 朋友们 decided to travel to the Nine Dragon Mountains，九龙山，for two days and a night. Here we went hiking 爬山 and enjoyed practicing our 汉语。
In order to get here we took taxis 出租车 and a high speed train 高速火车。The train station 火车站 was very busy!
This month we had the chance to visit The Great Wall 长城 ! We visited the Ji County of 天津 and spent a few hours climbing 长城 which was an amazing experience! 长城 spans all the way from the east of 北京 to Kazakhstan! 21, 196km! 非常长！
