大家好!

Compared to every other month we've had in China, March has been the least eventful with only the YinYang music festival and a trip to the market. A group of us took the subway to the festival where we could plant trees to help grow a greener Tianjin. When we arrived we were very surprised when we saw that the Chinese were the minority and that about 80% of the people there were foreigners. The atmosphere was something I've never experienced, with music being played, people skateboarding, playing basketball, dancing, painting benches and then, of course, planting trees. We even got the chance to plant our own tree in the centre of Tianjin!

In the middle of the month, I wasn't feeling too well but I went to the market while Jodie went to buy some noodles. In the time that Jodie was picking what noodles she wanted, I thought I would go and have a wee rest leaning against a metal pole about two meters behind her. Within a minute I had collapsed and fell into about five mannequins to soften the fall to the ground. Jodie had heard a loud bang so turned round to see me lying down with all my newly made friends. Upon waking up from my nice trip I was surrounded by Chinese people checking my pulse whilst I was still confused about how I just fainted. On our way back to the accommodation we met a lady that had run to the shop to buy me some tea whilst I was on the ground which was really nice and would have to be the highlight of my trip. Overall I would rate the trip to the market a 3.5/5 with the 3.5 stars coming from the tea which the lady gave me and the time I didn't spend waiting for Jodie to buy noodles.

At the end of the month Peter and Emelie's mums came across and we were all given our favourite Easter treats, Lindt chocolate bunnies and Oreo eggs. It was strange to see the mums and to know that it was only a couple more weeks until my parents came to see me. That's all for this month 下个月见!
