Entry from college Applying with HN qualifications

How can I use my HN qualifications to apply for a degree course at Strathclyde?

Year 1 entry with an HN qualification

Many of our degree courses accept HN qualifications for Year 1 entry.

Year 2 & 3 entry with an HN qualification

Some of our degree courses also accept HNC qualifications in place of Year 1, allowing you to transfer into Year 2.

For a limited number of degree courses, it may also be possible to use credit gained in an HND to transfer into Year 3.

Entering into a degree course from an HN course at college into Year 2 or Year 3 is known as Articulation.

Formal articulation into Years 2 & 3

A smaller number of degree courses at Strathclyde allow HND students to join a degree course in Year 2 or 3, through formal agreements with our college partners.
