Strathclyde Centre for Doctoral Training in Global Environmental Monitoring and Policy (GEMaP)About us - How will GEMaP tackle these problems?

The GEMaP CDT provides whole systems thinking regarding the connections between measuring, monitoring, and reporting progress on climate change and environmental policy and governance.

The GEMaP CDT provides whole systems thinking

The Centre aims to: develop effective approaches for measuring and monitoring sustainability and climate change impact, mitigation and adaptation; assess the interplay of these factor with policy; and, ultimately, improve governance on climate change and sustainability. As achieving these aims requires a multidisciplinary approach, GEMaP brings together doctoral students from different disciplines.

The GEMaP network and associated researchers (supervisors, affiliates, and collaborators) include globally leading researchers at the University of Strathclyde as well as our key international strategic partners.
