What you will study and achieve |
Communication skills are used in everything we do. Effective communication skills can often determine success or failure. Great leaders need to be great communicators. Changes to ways of working – remote/hybrid environments, rely on effectual communications, ensuring individuals and teams stay connected, collaborate and accomplish common objectives. For leaders, being able to create and sell a vision, help individuals or teams to work effectively, resolve conflict and influence rely on nurturing those communication skills and displaying strong, concise and appropriate communications. Communication can be delivered physically – in-person or in a virtual setting, one-to-one, in small or large groups. Five types of communications will be explored – oral/verbal, written, active listening/audio, non-verbal and contextual. |
