Strathclyde Students for Covid Relief
A society of students and alumni, aiming to aid global COVID-19 relief efforts. Firstly, by designing and manufacturing ventilator-type CPAP devices to be used in Malawi – a country which has been severely impacted by the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic.
Strathclyde Renewable Engineering Society (SRES)
SRES aims to design, test and build a fully functioning wind turbine by 2021, which will be sent to a third world country to power multiple houses in the area or kept on campus to help promote the University's renewables vision.
Won Connect
A non-profit social enterprise with the aim of tackling social isolation amongst older and socially isolated individuals in Glasgow. This is done through IT classes, which help older people become more independent, as well as creating opportunities to socialise with peers.
