Ben Yoxon, Isle of Skye

I am the education officer at the International Otter Survival Fund (www.otter.org) and love wildlife and the environment. Having been born and brought up in Skye I am lucky enough to share my life with the amazing wildlife we have on the island so it is important to try and help them. I love working and helping both wildlife, mainly otters, across the world and also aiding to protect the environment. It’s so important that we help protect the amazing animals we see now so that future generations can share our joy in seeing them. Getting children to reconnect with the natural world and ignite a passion that will last a lifetime is important. Hopefully, through projects such as this, our children won’t make the same mistakes we have!”

Here is Ben’s message to COP26: “It’s time to make a change, don’t leave it up to our kids!”
