The decision to pursue a masters degree in Advanced Immunology stemmed from both personal ambition and the encouragement of my social circle. Equipped with a robust foundation in immunology from my undergraduate studies, I was eager to delve deeper into the subject and gain a more nuanced understanding of its complexities.

How did you make the decision to study at Strathclyde?

Strathclyde won me over while I was studying my undergraduate degree in BSc Biomedical Sciences, where I was thoroughly impressed by the pedagogical approach. The University's commitment to academic excellence made deciding to continue my postgraduate studies here an obvious choice.

What do you like about your course and Strathclyde?

The course at Strathclyde has been intellectually stimulating, offering a broad spectrum of modules that have honed my expertise and versatility in various career-relevant areas. It's a dynamic amalgamation of advanced immunological concepts, rigorous statistical analysis, diverse lab techniques, and even an incursion into the business side of science, enhancing my financial acumen for both scientific and broader business contexts.

What are your ambitions for the future and how do you think your time at Strathclyde will help you achieve your goals?

My academic journey at Strathclyde is a cornerstone for my aspirations to enter the field of medicine. The skill set and credentials I'm acquiring are pivotal in bolstering my candidacy for medical school, and the knowledge I've amassed will be a springboard for my future academic endeavours.

Has anything surprised you about living/studying here?

Of course, the possibility of experiencing the 4 seasons on the same day on any day of the year! The countless times that I entered a class when it was heavily raining and when I was done it was sunny, and the opposite, always surprised me.
