This online short course provides students with skills to deliver and implement project management. Organisations and employers are increasingly realising the benefits of those with project management skills outwith their official 'project managers' roles, due to this surge in demand we have created this course to provide students with the skills necessary to fill this market demand.

We would recommend that students complete the Introduction to Project Management course before undertaking this Advanced Project Management course if they are new to project management.

Topics covered in the course include:

  • Quality Management - Quality Management Planning, Quality Assurance and Controlling Quality
  • Risk Management - Planning for Risk, Identifying Risks, Risk Management, Risk Register, Risk Analysis, Risk Control

Please note, the case studies analysed throughout the course are in an Engineering context.

We would recommend that this online course provides 4 weeks of learning material, at 10 hours a week.

You will also gain access to the course material for a full year, so that you can refer back to your notes or material after completing the course.

With long-standing research expertise and proven industry experience from the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management, the course is available to students to start flexibly throughout the year.

The course costs £250.

This course fee includes access to MyPlace our online learning platform, the course material for one year and a digital certificate of completion if you pass the final course test.
