This two-day course introduces core concepts and practice in Pressure Vessel Design-by-Analysis.

Topics include the scope and purpose of Design-by-Analysis, fundamentals of mechanical behaviour of materials, stress and stress analysis, limit load and primary stress, shakedown and secondary stress, design procedures for elastic analysis, stress categorization, stress linearization, fatigue analysis of non-welded and welded components, and design procedures for inelastic analysis.
