Dr Abdoul Karim ZANHOUO recently the Centre for Energy (CEP) as a research associate in 2022. He graduated from the African School of Economics with a specialization in public economy and applied statistics and completed his Ph.D. in economics at Anadolu University in Turkey, defending a dissertation entitled “Impact of climate change on households' welfare in Africa”. His current research area  includes using  a CGE model to understand the economy-wide implications of  fossil fuels switch to more environmental friendly energy sources such as blue and green hydrogen in industries and transports usage. Previously, he worked on topics related to Geographical Indications products in EU trade agreements.
