There is a variety of ways for you to raise your profile. We have listed some of these below:

CareerHub

Register with our online vacancy portal CareerHub Strathclyde to post your vacancies to us free of charge. Student and graduate jobseekers can "follow" your organisation so that your vacancy appears first when they log in to search for vacancies.

Careers Fairs

Careers Fairs are one of the most popular ways to connect with students. We are delighted that all of our Careers Fairs will be in-person in 2023 - Scottish Graduate Fair, Law Fair, Pharmacy Fair, and Technology Fair.

On Campus Presentation/Webinar

If you would like to hold a presentation/workshop on campus, our seminar room is an excellent space.

Employer Presentations usually take place in October and November and again late January/February.

Employer Workshops usually run in October and late January/February and are over a lunch time.

Led by your organisation, they focus on teaching participants about an employability skill or stage of the recruitment process such as, writing a CV or how your assessment centres works etc. 

Seminar room:

  • Room capacity is between 40 - 50 people, depending on final room layout
  • There is a small charge to hire our seminar room. To find out more, please get in touch. 

We would need the following details:

  • title of event
  • description of your organisation and the purpose of the presentation/webinar
  • target audience (eg course, year group)
  • start time and end time of the event
  • weblink for further details
  • details of whether prior registration is required to attend
  • closing date for registration (if there is one)

Online Presentations, Webinars & Skills Session

If you would like to hold a presentation/webinar using your platform, we would be happy to assist you in promoting your event to students via our MyCareer events system.

Many employers offer skills sessions for students covering a wide variety of topics. These events are a great way to raise awareness of your organisation with students.

If you are looknig to host a presentation, webinar or skills session on your own platform, please contact us.

  • title of presentation, webinar or skills session including brief description of your organisation and the purpose of the presentation, webinar or skills session
  • target audience (eg course, year group)
  • start time and end time of event
  • weblink to register for the skill session
  • details of whether prior registration is required to attend
  • closing date for registration (if there is one)
