Launch of GOLDMINE Scientific Collaborative Network

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of "AdvancinG TechnOlogy, AppLications anD FundaMentals In Coherent NanosourcEs" (GOLDMINE), a pioneering scientific collaborative network. GOLDMINE is a part of the International Research Networks initiative led by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), with contributions from affiliated institutions across partner countries.

The GOLDMINE consortium consists of the following institutions (in alphabetical order):

  • Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR)
  • CNRS - C2N–LP2N (F)
  • CNRS/Université de Besançon - Femto-ST (F)
  • CNRS/Université Côte d'Azur - INPHYNI (F)
  • Imperial College London (UK)
  • Technical University of Berlin (D)
  • Technical University of Denmark (DK)
  • University of Strathclyde (UK)

Over the next five years, GOLDMINE aims to accelerate progress and enhance European expertise in advanced photonics. The network will focus on key areas such as optical neuromorphic computing, non-Hermitian sources, novel nanolasers, and innovative approaches to theoretical modeling.

One of GOLDMINE's primary objectives is to foster collaborations among its members while also forging new partnerships. We are committed to facilitating interactions with external institutions and invite them to contribute through seminars, events, and scientific collaborations.
